My Piano Cover of Tokyo et Paris - Nodame Cantabile Paris ED

Here's my latest piano cover, which has been on youtube for more than a week now! It's the beautiful Nodame Cantabile Paris ED, entitled Tokyo et Paris by Emiri Miyamoto x Solita (check out my review here). It's so weird to be covering a song in my own language!! Anyway, I hope you all like it!!

lelangir April 28, 2009 2:42 AM: This one generally sounda kinda awkward, I think there's quite a few tempo/rhythm mistakes...but do you write these arrangements yourself? Still, at any rate, I enjoy these a lot!

I loved this ending and your cover is as always, spectacular to hear :] The think I didn't much like about the original was the vocal part ~ too soft >_<
Ryvius April 28, 2009 10:03 AM: @Connie thank you! It took me a while to like the original song actually... I generally dislike anything sung in french!

@lelangir, what you probably consider rythm mistakes are some few changes I made because playing a violin part on the piano isn't really easy. But there shouldn't be any tempo mistakes since I always had the original song in my earphones while playing it. And I don't write any arrangements down, I only do it by ear...

Connie May 3, 2009 12:25 AM: @Ryvius: Lol, and yet it's your native language. I wasn't much interested in french but after hearing some of it's music; I think the language is beautiful. I'd wish I'd chose French instead of Spanish for my foreign language class in school (at the time, I just picked the one that was rumored to be easiest). I don't listen to french music in general but I liked the song 3eme Sexe by Miss Kittin after hearing it from a commercial.
